Northwestern Essex County in northeastern New Jersey...
Passaic County in northeastern New Jersey...

* Until 800 AM EDT.

* At 620 AM EDT, While the heaviest rainfall has moved out of the
area, many area rivers and streams are running high and some
roadway flooding will take time to recede. Additional showers and
thunderstorms are likely to develop this morning. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
