* WHAT...Flooding continues, especially along the Rio Grande and area
waterways downstream from Monte Vista.
* WHERE...Southeastern Rio Grande County in south central Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 730 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations continues. Numerous roads remain closed
due to flooding, including Highway 112 between Del Norte and
Center, and Highway 285 between Monte Vista and Center. Expect
many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 120 PM MDT, the Rio Grande has crested at Del Norte and Monte
Vista, however, flooding continues over low lying areas near the
river and many waterways and agricultural areas away from the
river remain flooded as well.
