NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued October 10 at 7:17PM EDT until October 10 at 7:30PM EDT by NWS Columbia SC

At 717 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Batesburg-Leesville, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Lexington and eastern Saluda Counties, including the
following locations... Cedar Grove Fire Station, Lake Murray Shores,
South Shore Marina, Oswald Park, Circle Fire Station, Hollow Creek
Public Park, Delmar, and Wyses Ferry.
