SOUTHCOM Strikes Caribbean Go-Fast Vessel and Says Four Aboard Were Killed
CARIBBEAN — According to U.S. Southern Command, Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere struck a go-fast vessel, a small fast boat, in the Caribbean on October 4.
The command said confirmed intelligence showed the boat was taking part in drug trafficking on routes it called established trafficking routes, and that the strike killed four people it called “narco-terrorists.”
The release gives no time for the strike, no coordinates, no flag, no cargo weight, and no information on what weapon was used.
In a separate strike on September 19, the same task force, under the same command, struck another go-fast vessel in the Caribbean and said that strike also killed four people.
