NWS / NOAA weather: Flood Warning issued September 30 at 9:28PM CDT until October 1 at 12:00PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Jewell County in north central Kansas...
Nuckolls County in south central Nebraska...
Thayer County in south central Nebraska...

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 922 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that much of the Warning area had picked up at least 2.5 to 4.5
inches of rain in the last few hours. At least minor flooding of
several rural roads is likely. Area creeks and rivers will also
experience at least significant within-bank rises, and mainly
minor flooding of some main rivers is also possible. At least
portions of the Warning area could receive at least another 1-2
inches of rain tonight before rain moves out or becomes much
lighter, and, at least some lighter rain could also fall during
the day Thursday before rain completely ends for several days.

This areal Flood Warning effectively replaces the previously-
issued Flood Advisory valid until 2 AM Thursday for the same
area.

Creek, Walnut Creek, Elk Creek, Humphrey Branch Rose Creek,
Middle Limestone Creek, Advent Creek, Little Oak Creek, Lost
Creek,South Fork Big Sandy Creek, Dry Creek, White Rock Creek,
Cottonwood Creek, Liberty Creek and Oak Creek.

Superior, Hebron, Deshler, Nelson, Lawrence, Davenport, Bruning,
Chester, Alexandria, Burr Oak, Hardy, Ruskin, Esbon, Carleton,
Byron, Hubbell, Oak, Belvidere, Gilead and Webber.
