NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued October 1 at 3:23PM CDT until October 1 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 323 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding across
the warned area with numerous low water crossings closed. Leon and
Olmos Creek has responded slightly in water levels and has increased.
Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. While rainfall rates has
decreased over the past hour, additional rainfall amounts up to 1
inch are possible in the warned area.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

San Antonio, Schertz, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak,
Pleasanton, Selma, Floresville, Jourdanton, Poteet, Stinson
Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport, Randolph AFB, Leon
Valley, Helotes, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest and Terrell Hills.
