NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued September 30 at 5:15PM CDT until September 30 at 5:30PM CDT by NWS Wichita KS

At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles east of Milberger, or 11 miles southeast of
Russell, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Russell County.

This includes Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 195.
