NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued September 29 at 7:34PM CDT until September 29 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

At 733 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 6 miles west of Groom, or 9 miles northeast of Claude,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Armstrong and southeastern Carson Counties.
