NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued September 29 at 10:37PM CDT until September 29 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

At 1037 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 11 miles northwest of Washburn, or 13 miles northeast of
Amarillo, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
western Carson and southeastern Potter Counties.
