* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...Southwestern Socorro County in central New Mexico...
East Central Catron County in west central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1216 PM MDT, New Mexico DOT reported that NM Highway 52 was
inundated with water south of US Highway 60 and is impassable.
Running water and debris remains over the roadway.
- NM Highway 107 south of Magdalena will also experience difficult
driving conditions due to flood waters.
