* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 634 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Up to 2.50
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Santa Fe, Eldorado At Santa Fe, La Cienega, Cerrillos Hills State
Park, Los Cerrillos, La Bajada and Agua Fria.

EASTERN PACIFIC - U.S. Marines and Sailors launched from the amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17) boarded, searched, and cleared a vessel in international waters on August 28, then sank it after removing those aboard, U.S. Southern Command said.
SOUTHERN BORDER - On August 27 U.S. Southern Command reported that Joint Task Force-Southern Border personnel used the Army Multipurpose High Energy Laser (AMP-HEL) during the late-night hours of August 25 and 26 against three unmanned aircraft the command called hostile and cartel-linked.
