* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Kauai in Kauai County
* Until 630 AM HST.
* At 337 AM HST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain over and
upstream of the town of Hanalei. Rain was falling at a rate of 2 to
3 inches per hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly. Water is beginning to flow over the Hanalei Bridge and law
enforcement is closing down the bridge.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Kapaa, Princeville, Kilauea, Hanalei, North Fork Wailua Trails,
Wainiha, Alakai Swamp Trails, Haena, Wailua Homesteads, Na Pali
