NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 29 at 6:51PM MST until September 29 at 8:30PM MST by NWS Phoenix AZ

At 651 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms have ended over
the Sand Stone Burn Scar. However, between 1 and 1.75 inches of rain
have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional
rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Sand Stone Burn Scar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Sand Stone Burn Scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ballantine Trailhead, Round Valley and Sugarloaf Mountain.

This includes AZ Route 87 between mile markers 204 and 213.
