* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41
in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near
the river. Residential property is threatened near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 7.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:30 PM CDT Monday was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will slowly fall below flood stage towards
the end of the week.
