NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 29 at 4:59PM MDT until September 29 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 459 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in water flowing across roads on White Sands
Missile Range in far western Lincoln county. Radar estimates up to 2
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.25
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Carrizozo and Oscuro.

This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 36 and 71.
