* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41
in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until late Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near
the river. Residential property is threatened near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 PM CDT Friday was 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage during
the middle to end of next week.
