* WHAT...Southeast winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
expected. Localized wind gusts up to 75 mph near Cape Newenham.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak Island and Western Capes.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong front moving inland from the eastern
Bering will bring gusty southeasterly winds to the Kuskokwim Delta
coast and the Western Capes through this morning. Winds are
expected to peak around noon today, then steadily diminish through
this evening. Following this system, another round of gusty
southerly winds are expected Friday morning, with wind gusts as
high as 50 mph.
