NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 24 at 6:41AM MST until September 24 at 8:30AM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
At 641 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has ended for
now across the warned area over rural southwest Yavapai County east
of Highway 71 and west of Highway 93. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
fell earlier this morning. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.
