NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 24 at 4:16PM MDT until September 24 at 6:30PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 416 PM MDT, the public reported flash flooding across the warned
area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base and Portair.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 380 and 391.
