NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 23 at 8:03PM EDT until September 23 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

At 803 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional light rainfall is ongoing across portions of the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Dewitt, Walker, Old Flat Lick, Flat Lick, Baughman, Himyar, Avis,
Artemus, Trosper, Brush Creek, Mills, Boone Heights, Myrick, Erose
and Elys.
