Northeastern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...
Southern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia...

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 832 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.8 inches
of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, with additional rounds of light
rainfall continuing to be possible.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Spencer, Glenville, Elizabeth, Grantsville, Arnoldsburg, Cedar
Creek State Park, Reedy, Sand Fork, Pullman, Auburn, Munday,
Annamoriah, Brohard, Creston, Macfarlan, Big Springs, Mount Zion,
Smithville, Cherry, and Millstone.
- This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia near mile marker
150...and between mile markers 152 and 163.
