NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 6 at 10:21PM CDT until September 7 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

At 1021 PM CDT, Pictures shared via social media showed flooding
mainly in Perham and was corraborated by law enforcement. Between 4
and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but
no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Perham, Ottertail Lake, Ottertail, Star Lake, Deer Creek, Dent,
Richville, Amor and Glendalough.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Finn Creek, Toad River, Otter Tail River, Leaf River and Willow
Creek.
