Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier affecting Jefferson,
Hardin, Jasper and Orange Counties.

For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River
Saltwater Barrier...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Village Creek...including Kountze...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pine Island Bayou near Sour Lake.

* WHEN...From Friday evening to Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Water inundates roads in lowland areas near
the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 21.4 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall to 21.2 feet tomorrow morning. It will rise above
flood stage late tomorrow evening to 25.8 feet Saturday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.7
feet on 10/02/2021.
