NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued September 3 at 5:48PM EDT until September 3 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 548 PM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain and several roads impassable due to flooding in southern
Portage County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
