NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 30 at 6:17PM MDT until August 30 at 7:15PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 617 PM MDT, the public reported flooding on Wahweap Creek from
earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 0.5 and 1.25
inches of rain have fallen across the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot
canyons, and normally dry washes.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Big Water and Wahweap Creek, Warm Creek and Last Chance Creek to
Lake Powell.
