NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 30 at 5:15PM MDT until August 30 at 7:45PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 515 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated earlier thunderstorms produced
heavy rain across primarily Brimhall Natural Bridge near Halls Creek.
Water will continue to flow downstream through Halls Creek Narrows
down to Lake Powell. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot
canyons, and normally dry washes.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Brimhall Natural Bridge near Halls Creek, with water continuing to
flow down Halls Creek into Halls Creek Narrows and down to Lake
Powell.
