Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River from Hutsonville to Vincennes.

.Minor flooding continues on the Wabash River from Hutsonville down
to Vincennes. The river has crested. Flooding should come to an end
on the Wabash over the weekend.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, High water surrounds elevated river cabins.
County roads to these cabins are impassable. Agricultural flooding
is in progress. Seep water develops behind levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT /9:00 PM EDT/ Friday the stage was 18.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:00 PM CDT /9:00 PM EDT/ Friday was 19.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Monday morning and continue falling to 4.9 feet Monday, September
07.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.9
feet on 03/13/1993.
