The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
San Juan County in southeastern Utah...
South Central Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 1015 PM MDT.

* At 512 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across portions of Warm Creek, Last Chance Creek, and
Croton Canyon down to Lake Powell. Between 0.25 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot
canyons, and normally dry washes.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
portions of Warm Creek, Last Chance Creek, and Croton Canyon down
to Lake Powell, including areas within Glen Canyon National
Recreation Area.
