NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 22 at 8:20PM EDT until August 22 at 9:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 820 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
Johnstown and surrounding townships. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Johnstown, Westmont, Belmont, Nanty-Glo, Geistown, Southmont,
Vinco, Dale, East Conemaugh, South Fork, Sidman, St. Michael,
Daisytown, Ehrenfeld, Tire Hill, Elim, Mundys Corner, Lorain,
Brownstown and Summerhill.
