NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued August 21 at 6:16PM EDT until August 21 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

At 615 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 12 miles east of Seagrove, or 12 miles northwest of
Carthage, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Robbins, Highfalls, and Harpers Crossroads.
