NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 19 at 8:25PM MST until August 19 at 9:15PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 825 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Tucson, Sahuarita, Drexel Heights, Vail, Corona De Tucson, East
Sahuarita, San Xavier Community, Summit, Tucson International
Airport and San Xavier Mission.

Country Club Rd at Franco Wash, Houghton Rd from I-10 & Sahuarita Rd,
Santa Clara Ave at El Vado Wash, Sahuarita Rd west of Wilmot Rd,
Andrada Rd east of Wentworth Rd, Mission Rd from Valencia Rd to San
Xavier Rd, Old Vail COnnection Rd at Franco Wash and Calle Rinconada
Rd from Andrada Rd to Sahuarita Rd.
