NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 19 at 8:14PM MST until August 19 at 10:30PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 814 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Tucson, Casas Adobes, Drexel Heights, Flowing Wells, Tucson
Mountain Park, Tucson Estates, Valencia West and Ryan AirField.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 19 between mile markers 60 and 63. Route 86 between mile
markers 157 and 171. Route 77 between mile markers 70 and 72.
Interstate 10 between mile markers 249 and 260.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
1st Ave north of Fort Lowell Rd, Stone Ave at Mabel St and Camino De
La Tierra at the Rillito River.
