NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 16 at 9:50PM EDT until August 16 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 950 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported multiple flooded
roadways in the Belle Valley area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Heavy rainfall has
ended but water can continue to rise.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Caldwell, Dudley, Belle Valley, Sarahsville, Dexter City,
Harriettsville and Wolf Run State Park.
