Vermilion River near Danville affecting Vermilion and Vermillion
Counties.

.River levels continue to rise slowly, and are expected to crest
early this afternoon. The river is expected to drop back below flood
stage Monday afternoon.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Vermilion River near Danville.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flooding begins downstream in Eugene and
Cayuga Indiana.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 AM CDT Sunday /8:15 AM EDT Sunday/ the stage was 24.6
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 AM CDT Sunday /8:15 AM EDT Sunday/ was 24.6
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
