The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northern De Baca County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 815 PM MDT.

* At 512 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated a near stationary
thunderstorm producing heavy rain over US Highway 84 northeast of
Sumner Lake. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
