NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued August 16 at 2:36PM MDT until August 16 at 4:15PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
At 236 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain over the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon Burn Scar had ended and
only light to moderate showers persisted. Between 1.25 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Hermits Peak and Calf
Canyon Burn Scar.
