The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The Aspen Acres Burn Scar in...
Eastern Custer County in southeastern Colorado...
Southwestern Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 149 PM MDT, Local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain over the Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Between 1 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen with flooding of creeks, drainage
and roadways with heavy debris flows. The expected rainfall rate
is 1 to 2.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar
will result in debris flow. The debris flow can consist of rock,
mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Middle and Squirrel Creek Drainages
including Beulah. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK
HIGHER GROUND NOW!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Aspen Acres Burn Scar.
