THE ISLAND OF HAWAII IN HAWAII COUNTY...
At 1144 PM HST, local law enforcement reported 2 homes swept away due
to intense rainfall over Naalehu. Rain rates have now decreased over
the area, but flash flood impacts are likely still ongoing.
Additional bands of heavy rain will be possible over the next few
hours.
FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Naalehu in Kau District. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
flooding.
