NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 31 at 9:25PM CDT until July 31 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

At 925 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Mineral Point, or 6 miles east of Potosi, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Belgrade, Caledonia, Potosi, Mineral Point, Irondale, Cadet,
Bismarck, Frankclay, Leadwood, Bonne Terre, Doe Run, Desloge,
Leadington, Park Hills, Farmington, Knob Lick and French Village.

This includes the following State Parks...
St. Joe State Park, St. Francois State Park and Missouri Mines
Historic Site.
