NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued August 1 at 5:31PM EDT until August 1 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

At 530 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Indianapolis, and is nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Beech Grove, Warren Park, and Monument Circle.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 107 and 115.
Interstate 70 between mile markers 78 and 85.
