* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central Cook County in northeastern Illinois...
DuPage County in northeastern Illinois...
Southeastern Kane County in northeastern Illinois...
Kendall County in northeastern Illinois...
Northwestern Will County in northeastern Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. High
water may recede slowly from flooded areas. Area creeks and streams
are already elevated, increasing the risk of flooding due to
additional rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 906 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and
4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Scattered heavy rain showers late this morning may result in
additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Evanston,
Bolingbrook, Skokie, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove,
Elmhurst, Lombard, Romeoville, Plainfield, Park Ridge and
Addison.
