The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Luna County in southwestern New Mexico...

* Until 900 PM MDT.

* At 558 PM MDT, Slow moving thunderstorms near Waterloo have
produced over an inch of rain in less than an hour. Storms are
beginning to drift south towards the Tres Hermanas mountains,
which drains into the same area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of arroyos and streams, roads, and as
well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Waterloo, areas along Seventy Six Draw, including portions of
Montezuma Road and Inmon Ranch Road.

If rainfall continues, portions of State Highway 11 may be impacted.
