The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Grant County in southwestern New Mexico...

* Until 630 PM MDT.

* At 438 PM MDT, A strong to severe thunderstorm is producing
torrential rainfall and hail northwest of Gila and Cliff. 1 to 1.5
inches of rain has fallen in some areas. This runoff will work its
way into Duck Creek and Old Maid Canyon before reaching the Gila
River. Minor flooding is possible, especially on back roads west
of US-180.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
