The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Coconino County in north central Arizona...
Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 900 PM MST.

* At 602 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain from Fraziers Well to Grand Canyon Caverns. Between 2
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, and
normally dry washes.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Hualapai Reservation, Fraziers Well, Yampai, Nelson, Robbers Roost,
Grand Canyon Caverns Airport, Hualapai Airport and Pica.

This includes Route 66 between mile markers 110 and 123.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Diamond Creek, Truxton Wash and 224- Mile Canyon.
