NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 28 at 1:55PM MDT until July 28 at 4:00PM MDT by NWS Denver CO

At 155 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain fell earlier over
the Buckhorn Creek Basin within the Cameron Peak Burn Scar. Between 1
and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Excessive rainfall over the warning area
will cause debris flows near steep terrain. A debris flow can consist
of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around the
Buckhorn Creek Basin within the Cameron Peak Burn Scar.

Mainly rural areas of East Central Larimer County.

Pennock Creek, Sheep Creek and Cedar Creek.
