NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 27 at 12:18PM CDT until July 27 at 1:15PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

At 1218 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Darien, or over Woodridge, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Orland Park, Romeoville, Lockport, Homer Glen, and Lemont around
1225 PM CDT.
New Lenox around 1230 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Joliet, Mokena, Ingalls Park and Frankfort.
