...HOT, DRY, AND WINDY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...

.Friday and Saturday will see hot, dry, and windy conditions
develop, primarily across southeast Oregon and the higher terrain
of southwest Idaho. The driest and windiest day at this time is
expected on Saturday. Scattered thunderstorms along the NV border
in Idaho zone 426 today with gusty outflow winds up to 50 mph
possible.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 401 Western
Payette National Forest, 402 Eastern Payette National Forest
and 423 Owyhee Mountains. In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670
Burns BLM, 671 Steens Mountain, 672 Southern Grasslands, 673
Central Canyonlands, 674 Northwestern Vale BLM and 675 Baker
Valley.

* TIMING...Until 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ Saturday.

* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 16 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
