* Until 530 PM MDT.
* At 231 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the south fork of North Creek within the
Cottonwood Burn Scar in Beaver County. Between 0.25 and 0.5 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5
inches are expected in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the the south fork of North Creek downstream through
North Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation
and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding in the south fork of North
Creek within the Cottonwood burn scar.
