NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 23 at 7:48PM MST until July 23 at 8:45PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 748 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Yampai, Pica and Cross Mountain.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 94 and 109. Route 66 near mile
marker 120.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Truxton Wash, Markham Wash and Trout Creek.
