At 217 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain over the Bright Angel Creek Basin below the Dragon Bravo Fire
scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flooding impacts
will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Bright Angel Creek Basin
below the Dragon Bravo Fire scar.
